Donna joined Blue Dot September 2019 to help support the unique types of social entrepreneurs attracted to the way we do business. Licensed in California since 2005, she has represented clients ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, and her experience includes entity formation and governance, private security offerings, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, and leasing. Donna began and spent a significant portion of her career at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, later worked in Polsinelli LLP’s corporate law department, and we have the added benefit of her wealth of knowledge of labor and employment law.
Donna is a double Bruin, graduating from the University of California in Los Angeles with a B.A. magna cum laude in business economics, as well as her J.D. Donna is a self-admitted business nerd, and was drawn to Blue Dot because she firmly believes the power of business can and should be harnessed to affect social good. As a vegetarian herself, her biggest nerd-out moment was when The Economist dubbed 2019 as “The Year of the Vegan.” She also does not like to sit still, and often walks on a treadmill while working. When she’s not working, Donna loves walking her dogs, dancing ballet, and volunteering at the local animal shelter. She is also on the leadership council of Womxn Funders for Animal Rights, and is an advisor for veganinvestors.com.
